What we do with your data when you reserve a table, send an event enquiry or visit this site, and how you change your cookie choice.

What we process, and why
Reservations
You reserve a table through Fresto, a Danish reservation platform. Fresto asks your name, e-mail address, phone number, the number of guests and the date and time; we use these to hold your table and to reach you about your reservation. Fresto processes this data under its own privacy policy: fresto.io.
Event enquiries
The form on Private events asks what you are planning, the date, the number of guests, your name and e-mail address and, if you wish, your phone number, company and a message. We use this to send you a proposal and to plan your event. The enquiry is stored on a server in the EU (Supabase, Frankfurt) and sent to us by e-mail (Brevo, EU). The form also records the page you arrived on and any campaign code in the link; advertising click identifiers are stored only when you have accepted marketing cookies.
E-mail and phone
When you mail or call us, we use your details to answer you and keep the exchange as long as we need it for that.
Cookies
On your first visit a banner (Cookiebot) asks which cookies you allow. Cookies that are necessary for the site and the reservation window to work are always allowed. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads run only after you have given consent, and only for what you allowed: statistics, marketing or both. The link "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page reopens the banner, so you can change your choice at any time.
How long we keep your data
Event enquiries: 24 months after the enquiry, so we can help you with a next booking. Reservations: according to Fresto's policy. E-mail: as long as needed to answer and settle your question.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Mail info@debekeerdesuster.com and you hear from us within a month. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
